Canine Clarity aims to educate as many dog owners as possible about genetic enrichments and requirements.

Emily

Hello! I’m the owner and operator of Canine Clarity.

As a qualified Dog Trainer (through the National Dog Trainers Federation or NDTF) and qualified Veterinary Nurse, I’m enthusiastic about ensuring dogs have a holistically enriched and fulfilled life.

My aim is to give owners the best companions they could ask for by making sure that their dog’s genetic needs are being met.

I studied Veterinary Nursing to better understand the link between pain and behaviour.
Some dogs are very subtle with their signs of pain, but the pain can be a compounding cause of a number of undesirable behaviours.

I’m also qualified in Canine Remedial Massage through Dogs in Motion, so I can help prevent or rehabilitate injuries to give the best quality of life.

Canine Clarity is now collaborating with Topnotch K9 to provide more services, availability and experience than anyone else in the business!

I also have an up to date Police check and am first aid certified.

Shane

Topnotch K9 all started back in 2017 when Shane purchased a Rottweiler puppy. The puppy turned out to be a handful, so Shane sought out help. Through his training journey he fell in love with the art of dog training and decided to venture into the realm of helping people enjoy their dogs as much as he enjoyed working with his girl; Luna.

After achieving his accreditation through the NDTF and spending countless hours reading books, researching dog behaviour and mentoring with many pet dog trainers he decided he wanted to expand his knowledge in the realm of military application working dogs.

This took him on a journey down to another training centre called Task 9; where he spent years mentoring under one of the pioneers of dog training in Australia; with over 40 years experience!

With this experience & mentoring Shane has the expertise to train and rehabilitate human reactive or aggressive dogs.

Shane is also first aid certified.
